About Mrs. MacDonald
I am currently entering my 15th year of teaching in the Stoughton Public Schools. I began my career as a Reading Teacher at the Dawe and Gibbons Elementary Schools. A year later, I moved into the 3rd grade classroom at the Dawe, and five years ago, made the switch to 2nd. I absolutely love teaching, and I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Dawe School team, working with such amazing and dedicated teachers.
My credentials include a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the State University of New York in Oneonta (and a minor in music), as well as a Masters degree in Reading Education from Boston University.
In addition to being a teacher, I am also a wife, and a mother to 3 girls. My daughters Morgan (10 years old) and identical twins Leah and Charlotte (6 years old) certainly keep me and my husband busy when we're not at work!
I also absolutely love making music. You can often find me playing my piano, playing my guitar, and almost always singing!
I am so excited to embark on what will be a fabulous year of learning, and look forward to getting to know your child. Please contact me any time if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s learning.
